Behind the main house there is a separate home (the “Newport Plums Carriage House”) which includes a one bedroom unit, includes a full kitchen, washer and dryer and two large screen TVs and fast speed internet access.  The Newport Plums Carriage House is a newly remodeled and very clean and modern space located on the second floor of the carriage house and comes with one covered parking spot. It is the ideal spot for a single person, couple or small family coming to enjoy Sandpoint for any occasion or any season to stay.    

The Newport Carriage House is a far better value than any local hotel, and it is ideally located in the heart of South Sandpoint. Amenities include Ting high-speed wireless internet, 2 widescreen smart TVs on the DISH Network, all new appliances, a washer and dryer, central heating and cooling and a keypad August Smart Lock for a private entrance. 

The main bedroom has a king size bed and there is a sofa pull out bed in the living room. The private entranceway is accessed by an August keypad and guests are assigned a unique entry code.

Located three blocks from all the downtown shops, restaurants, pubs and the public beach. Guests can stroll around scenic South Sandpoint or walk to their desired downtown location for a drink, meal or shopping! The Third Street Pier is across the street from the property and makes for a great spot to watch amazing sunrises and sunsets after spending an active day in Sandpoint.   

The property is in the heart of the very popular South Sandpoint area, and is a short drive to Schweitzer Mountain Resort (13 miles), the Idaho Club golf course (10 miles) or Dover Bay (3 miles). Silverwood Theme Park is 29 miles, Couer d’ ALene is 45 miles and Spokane is 75 miles from the property. Out of town guests typically fly into Spokane Airport (GEG) and have an easy 1.5 hour and scenic drive down interstate 90 to the 95 right into Sandpoint.
