Q:  How do I book a stay at either the Newport Plums Estate or the Newport Plums Carriage House?

If you are interested in booking a stay at the Newport Plums Carriage House, please contact Melissa at (208).603.7005. At this time, bookings can be made on either the VRBO or AirBnB platforms.    

Q:  How do I access the home when I arrive?

The house has an August lock system and a keypad entry system. You will be provided your own personal access code a week before your arrival via e-mail. Depending on your arrival time, the owners or property manager will show you around the house and answer any questions you may have.

Q:  What are the check-in  and checkout times?

Check-in time is 4pm and checkouts are at 10am. Late checkouts and early check in can be arranged for a fee if there is not a back-to-back booking before or after your stay.   Contact the owners to discuss the availability and pricing of early or late check in our checkout.  

Q:  Are pets allowed?

No.  

Q:  What are the applicable taxes and lodging taxes?

VRBO and AirBnB handle collecting all of the local and state taxes.  Beginning in 2023 all local short-term stays at motels, hotels or short-term vacation rentals in Sandpoint are charged 21% under Idaho state law for sales and lodging tax. These local taxes are assessed to help improve the infrastructure in this fast growing and popular destination location.
